The story

A leave-in earns its place by what it does after you have left the house. Shea butter keeps the moisture barrier intact through wind, sun and dry indoor air, hemp seed oil and Dynagen-R hold the strand together where split ends start, and the whole thing weighs nothing. At 97% naturally derived it is one of the cleanest formulas we make. Mist it through damp hair, comb once, and forget about it until you notice how soft your ends still are at the end of the day.

Dynagen-R is our patented hair technology, sourced in France and exclusive to REDAVID: a yeast protein fermented from Fair Trade sugar cane that is molecularly similar to your own hair protein, so it bonds into damaged patches instead of sitting on top. In laboratory testing it raised the markers of hair strength and structure by 50.94% against an untreated control. Three phases, every time you use it: Rebuild, Rehydrate, Reseal.

Omega 3, 6 and 9 with a natural reproteinizing action that helps prevent breakage. Hemp seed is a quarter protein by weight.

How to use

After conditioning, mist through damp hair from mid-lengths to ends.
Comb through with a wide tooth comb.
Style as usual. Reapply a light mist to dry hair whenever it feels dry.
Before heat styling, add two drops of Orchid Oil Treatment over the top.

Do I still need a rinse-out conditioner?

For most dry hair, yes. The leave-in keeps working after the shower, it does not replace the detangling step in it.

Can I use it on dry hair?

Yes. A light mist refreshes and softens between washes, and it is colour safe.

How is it different from the Orchid Oil Leave-In?

Same weightless base, different job. This one adds shea butter for drier, coarser hair. Curls that frizz easily usually prefer the Orchid Oil version.

What is Dynagen-R?

Our patented hair technology, exclusive to REDAVID. A yeast protein fermented from Fair Trade sugar cane that is molecularly similar to your own hair protein, so it bonds where hair is damaged and rebuilds from the inside out.
